Given up.
Let it all go.
Surrender to,
The inevitable.
Went out,
And threw myself
Under the bus.
Somehow, somewhere, some way
Prayers thought unheard,
And to be unanswered,
Suddenly burst upon me.
The Hope I thought was lost
Came crashing back,
Attacking me,
Attaching itself to my heart,
Like an Avenging Angel.
Believed it was
All over.
That there was
Nothing left.
Gave up.
Let go.
Laid down,
And prepared to die.
But Hope had plans,
Preset with the Fates.
Funny how,
When you've thrown
The chips out,
And refused the bid,
That you get
Redealt in,
And go on to play,
For that big win.

Um....erg? I'm not even sure what it is or why it is. It just sort of pounced on me, kinda like the story I'm writing over on AFF, "Love Note Left Behind" (Gods I love ShinShika).
